Financial Aid Opportunities
CTL is a place for everyone. If interested in being considered for a scholarship to help offset the cost of classes, please fill out the Scholarship Request Form found HERE! Financial aid, in the form of tuition assistance grants, is awarded to deserving students to partially off-set the costs of attending. Financial Aid is available on a limited basis; therefore, applicants must demonstrate a clear financial need and a strong desire to participate in the after-school program. The questions asked in this application are designed to help the CTL staff understand the family situation and financial position, and to make certain that assistance is awarded to students whose need is greatest. The information you provide in this application is considered strictly confidential. All decisions regarding financial assistance are made by the Educational Coordinator and CTL Executive staff.
While reasonable considerations will be made to accommodate the needs of each student. Community Theatre League reserves the right to reconsider enrollment or send a student home should issues require support beyond the capabilities of the CAST staff
Fall 2022 Class Offerings

Minis on the Mainstage:
Ages 4-6/ PreK-K, taught by Sarah K. Decker
Meeting: Thursdays from 10-11am AND 4:00-5:00pm
An introductory theatre program for our youngest actors, students will work to develop creativity and self-confidence through acting, music, puppetry, movement, storytelling, and FUN! Students will also become comfortable using their imaginations while developing self expression through crafts, music, and other activities. *A note to families that there are two identical sessions of this class to accommodate varying schedules of students and families! The final day of this class will feature an interactive experience where students can invite friends and family to participate in the day’s activities. This will take place on Monday, November 21st (as to not interfere with the Thanksgiving holiday).
Party Like a Popstar
Grades 1-3, Abby Simon and Taylor Elliott
Meeting: Fridays from 4-5pm
Similar to the Summer Camp offered in past years, this energetic class will include dance basics in Jazz and Hip Hop, as well as basic singing techniques, and tips for commanding the stage with confidence! Sing along to your favorite songs and learn to wow the crowd, just like your favorite stars! What are you waiting for, grab your mic and let’s go! The future Pop Idols will finish the course with a free final performance for family and friends, taking place earlier in the week (as to not interfere with the Thanksgiving holiday).
Rap-PunzelGrades 4-5, taught by Kim Fulmer
Meeting: Mondays from 4:30-5:30pm
Students will work towards a final performance of Rap-Punzel, a funny, pun-filled version of the classic fairy tale. Never sing-songy and always entertaining, the rhymes are skillfully woven as a hip group of rappers narrates the story, told almost completely in verse! Rap-Punzel is a tasty mix of fresh, action-packed humor and wholesome fun, drizzled with giggles and good times for all. Studio 1 will conclude with a free performance of the show for family and friends on the final day.
Building a Revue
Grades 6-8, taught by Katie Conklin
Meeting:Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30
Similar to the summer camp offered this past summer titled Raise Your Voice!, students will design their own Musical Revue, following a theme and structure chosen by them! A musical revue is a style of musical theatre that combines singing, dancing, and sketches that are part of a universal theme. Students will decide on a theme, choose songs and song order, learn the musical numbers, and design choreography- all culminating in a performance of their unique show on the final day of class.
Additional courses are being developed. Please check back soon and don’t forget to sign up for updates on the latest information.
