THEATRE POLICIES

  • Cell phones must be silenced during performances.
  • Be courteous to the cast and other patrons.
  • Cameras and other recording devices are prohibited.
  • Smoking is prohibited.
  • Hearing assistance devices are available at the box office.
  • Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the box office.
  • Patrons who must leave the theatre during the performances are asked to do so only at appropriate breaks and not during the action. Re-entry will occur at the discretion of the box office.
  • All patrons 1 year and over are required to purchase a ticket.

“Catch Me If You Can” is a high-energy musical based on the true story of Frank Abagnale Jr., a con artist who successfully impersonated a Pan Am pilot, a doctor, and a lawyer, all before his 19th birthday. Set in the 1960s, the musical follows Frank as he embarks on a thrilling journey filled with deception, charm, and adventure. Pursued by the relentless FBI agent Carl Hanratty, Frank’s escapades take him around the world, all while trying to escape his troubled past and win the affections of the girl of his dreams. As the stakes get higher and the chase intensifies, Frank must confront the consequences of his actions and decide what truly matters in life. Filled with catchy tunes, dynamic choreography, and a captivating story, “Catch Me If You Can” is a rollercoaster ride of excitement, humor, and heart. With themes of redemption, forgiveness, and the power of identity, this Tony-nominated musical is sure to entertain audiences of all ages.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

Director: Marie Fox

In “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” chaos ensues when the unruly Herdman siblings, known as the “worst kids in the history of the world,” take over the annual Christmas pageant. When the usual director is forced to step down due to an injury, Grace Bradley, a seemingly ordinary woman, steps up to coordinate the pageant. Despite initial skepticism from the community, Grace decides to embrace the Herdmans’ involvement, hoping to instill the true meaning of Christmas in them. As rehearsals progress, the Herdmans bring their unconventional flair to the production, turning the traditional pageant on its head. Through their involvement, the community learns important lessons about acceptance, kindness, and the spirit of Christmas.

“Rent” is a contemporary rock musical that follows a group of struggling artists and musicians living in New York City’s East Village during the height of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the late 1980s or early 1990s. The story revolves around Mark, an aspiring filmmaker, and his roommate Roger, a musician who is grappling with the loss of his girlfriend to suicide after an HIV diagnosis. They navigate their tumultuous relationships and confront issues of love, loss, addiction, and acceptance while striving to pursue their artistic dreams despite the harsh realities of poverty and illness. Through its powerful music and poignant storytelling, “Rent” celebrates the strength of friendship, the resilience of the human spirit, and the enduring power of love in the face of adversity.

Dive under the sea with Ariel in The Little Mermaid! This enchanting musical brings the beloved Disney film to life with all your favorite songs, including “Kiss the Girl,” “Part of Your World,” and “Under the Sea.” Ariel dreams of being where the people are, and when she makes a deal with the sea witch Ursula, her world turns upside down. But with the help of her friends, she might just find her voice and true love.

Featuring stunning visuals, magical underwater effects, and heartwarming music, The Little Mermaid is a journey “beyond your wildest dreams.” Don’t miss this unforgettable adventure where you’ll “believe in magic, right here on the ocean floor!”

Blithe Spirit

“Blithe Spirit” is a classic comedy play written by Noël Coward. The story revolves around Charles Condomine, a skeptical novelist, who invites an eccentric medium named Madame Arcati to conduct a séance at his home as research for his upcoming book. To his surprise, the séance conjures up the spirit of his deceased first wife, Elvira. Only Charles can see and hear Elvira, which leads to hilarious and chaotic situations as she wreaks havoc on his current marriage with his second wife, Ruth. As Charles struggles to navigate the increasingly complicated situation, he finds himself caught between the living and the dead, with unforeseen consequences.

“9 to 5: The Musical” is a hilarious and empowering adaptation of the classic 1980 comedy film. Fed up with their sexist boss, Franklin Hart Jr., the trio embarks on a wild scheme to take control of their workplace and their lives. A year-long adjudication process culminates in a formal awards night honoring the best and brightest performers in high schools within 40 miles of the Community Theatre League in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
