A History of Messy Rooms: Grades 4-6

June 16-27 from 1:00pm-4:00pm (2 week camp)

Cost: $200, early bird $150

“A History of Messy Rooms” is a humorous short play for kids about the great battle stretching over centuries. It is the battle between parents and children that begins with the age-old question, “Why do I have to make my bed?” With this fun script, campers will take a humorous journey through the centuries to see how bed-making has evolved throughout history. Using examples of household tasks that might have been performed in colonial America, during the Middle Ages, by Vikings, and even back to prehistoric times!

The Merry Old Land of Oz :Grades 7-9 Music

June 16-27 from 1:30pm-4:30pm (2 week camp)

Cost: $200, early bird $150

Students will put together a “cabaret” style performance featuring songs from the Oz canon, including The Wiz, Wicked, and the Wizard of Oz. Solos, duets, and ensemble numbers will bring the land of Oz to life as campers travel down the yellow brick road to deliver a stellar performance for family and friends.

Intro to Costuming: Grades 6-8

June 23-27 from 10:30am-1:30pm

Cost: $150, Early bird $100

Prefer to work behind the scenes? This camp will explore the basic ins and outs of costuming- helping to outfit the cast of the 4th-6th grade camp “A History of Messy Rooms”. Learn what it takes to dress a character- sewing optional!


Tots on the Spot: Ages 2-3 

June 30- July 2 from 9:30-10:30am  

Cost:$75, early bird $50

This class combines imaginative play, singing, acting, and movement to introduce and establish the building blocks of the performing arts, foster creativity, and nurture self-esteem. Through songs, games, stories and dance, these budding performers learn in a playful and creative environment. Through positive and imaginative class experiences, these young performers will develop confidence, strengthen social skills and have fun!

Petite Players: Ages 4-6 (PreK-K)

June 30th- July 2 from 12:30-2:30pm

Cost: $100, early bird $50

The focus of this introductory theatre program is to develop creativity and self-confidence through acting, singing, poetry, movement, storytelling, and FUN! Students will gain a basic understanding of aspects of theatre through storytelling and drama activities. Students will also use their imagination while developing self expression and building confidence through crafts, music, and more.

Vocal Intensive: Grades 9-12

June 30th- July 2 from 2- 4pm

Cost: $100, early bird $50

Develop your singing voice and musicianship in this hands-on camp for vocalists. Expand both your vocal and dramatic skills through singing classic and contemporary Broadway songs. This masterclass style intensive will offer a “perform, then critique” type structure while also touching on audition technique and etiquette. Connect your vocal skills to critical dramatic intention by focusing on how to “act” the song.

The Eras Camp:  Grades 2-3 (Music)

July 7- 11 from 9:30am- 12:30pm

Cost: $150, Early bird $100

Don’t let it be a cruel summer! Step into various eras with friendship bracelets, bedazzled microphones, and more as you hone your stage presence to command a crowd- just like Taylor. In addition to pop star themed crafts and games,campers will have a blast learning their favorite songs and dances from the Eras tour, ending with a fun “concert” for friends and family!

CAMP BLUEY!

K-1 Drama

July 7-11th from 1pm-4pm

Cost: $150, Early bird $100

Back by popular demand! Many of the games and themes featured in Bluey are actually fundamental practices of theatre. Your Little Character will get to play games such as Keepy Uppy, Statues, Shadowland, and more!  Through crafts and short scenes from the show, we will build empathy, teamwork, and self- confidence as we learn and play together.

Improv: Grades 7 -9 

July 7-18 from 9:30am-12:30pm (2 week camp)

Instructor: Marie Fox 

Cost: $200, early bird $150

This workshop will provide a healthy dose of improvisation skills to provide participants with the opportunity to learn quick thinking and creative scene building skills. Throughout the course, students will work towards a final performance to demonstrate mastery of the improvisation activities.

HS Improv: Grades 10 -12 

July 7-18 from 1:30pm-4:30pm (2 week camp)

Instructor: Marie Fox 

Cost: $200, early bird $150

A new camp this year! This workshop will take improv to the next level as it expands upon improvisation skills, integrating them on a high school level.  Students will work towards a final performance to demonstrate mastery of the improvisation activities and games they learn during the course.

Creative Movement- K-1 Music/Dance

July 14th- 18 from 9:00am- 12:00pm

Cost: $150, Early bird $100

Creative movement classes provide young children with an introduction to the magical world of dance and creative improvisation. Using make-believe imagery, hands-on props, and interactive music, children explore basic dance concepts while playing games and having fun. Campers also practice taking turns, sharing, and following directions as they work through familiar songs and stories.

Wish Upon A Star: A Disney Revue

 Grades 4-6

July 14-25 from 1-4pm (2 week camp)

Cost: $200, Early bird $150

Campers will learn and perform classic and contemporary songs from Disney films over the course of this 2 week camp. From Menken to Miranda, we will sing and dance our way through the stories of classic animated (and live action) films we hold dear to our hearts. From solos & duets, to full group numbers- there’s something for everyone to make some magic!

BUGS! Grades 2-3 Drama

July 21-25 from 9am-12pm 

Cost: $150, Early bird $100

Do you know the difference between a bug and an insect? Have you ever heard of a pink dragonfly? Campers will learn the answers to these questions while working on the short play “Bugs”. Learn the basics of theatre while also learning about the many different characters that make up the backyard ecosystem. With a script designed especially for students in primary grades, this camp is perfect for science lovers who also like to spend time onstage!
