“9 to 5: The Musical” is a hilarious and empowering adaptation of the classic 1980 comedy film. Set in the late 1970s, the story follows three women, Doralee, Violet, and Judy, who work in the oppressive and chauvinistic office of Consolidated Industries. Fed up with their sexist boss, Franklin Hart Jr., the trio embarks on a wild scheme to take control of their workplace and their lives. With plenty of laughter, heart, and a killer soundtrack by Dolly Parton, “9 to 5: The Musical” is a celebration of female empowerment and solidarity in the face of adversity.
